Privacy policy
Effective October 20, 2026
This policy explains what information Vantage Pro collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. Vantage Pro is a territory management and CRM app for field sales teams. Accounts are created by invitation from an administrator; there is no public sign-up.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, work email address, role and territory, and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store your password itself.
- Work information you enter: accounts, contacts, notes, activities, follow-ups, opportunities, deals, quota and compensation plan figures, and route plans. Your administrator may also import account and installed-equipment lists.
- Location, only if you choose: a home location you save as a route starting point, and your device's current location when you ask the map to show it or use it to start a route. Your browser asks for permission first.
- Calendar connection, only if you connect one: see the next section.
- Basic technical logs: our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) to keep the service running and secure.
Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook
Connecting a calendar is optional. When you connect Google Calendar, Vantage Pro requests these permissions:
- Your email address (
openid, email), shown in Vantage Pro so you know which calendar account is connected. - Manage events on your calendar (
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events), used only to create, update and delete the all-day events Vantage Pro makes for you: your open follow-ups on their due dates and the days of routes you plan. Each event contains the account name, the follow-up or route details you entered, and a link back to Vantage Pro.
When you connect Microsoft Outlook (a Microsoft 365 work or school account, or a personal Outlook.com account), Vantage Pro requests these Microsoft permissions:
- Your email address (
openid, email), shown in Vantage Pro so you know which calendar account is connected. - Stay connected (
offline_access), so Vantage Pro can keep its events up to date without asking you to sign in again each time. - Read and write your calendars (
Calendars.ReadWrite). This is the narrowest Microsoft permission that lets an app create and update events. Although it would allow reading your calendar, Vantage Pro uses it only to create, update and delete its own all-day events, exactly as described for Google above, and marks them as "free" so they don't block your time.
With either provider, Vantage Pro does not read, copy, change or delete any other events on your calendar, and does not access your contacts, email or files.
What we store: your calendar account's email address, an encrypted token that lets Vantage Prokeep its events up to date, and the IDs of the events Vantage Pro created, so it can update or remove them later.
Disconnecting: you can disconnect at any time from Settings → Integrations. Vantage Pro then removes the upcoming events it created and deletes the stored token. You can also revoke access from your Google Account permissions page, from your Microsoft personal account app permissions, or, for a work or school account, from My Apps or by asking your IT administrator.
Vantage Pro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data received from Google is used only to provide the calendar sync described above. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and not read by people except when you ask us for support, when needed for security, or when required by law.
How we use information
We use the information above only to run Vantage Pro: to sign you in, show you and your team the work in your territories, plan routes, sync your calendar if you choose, send account emails such as invitations and password resets, and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.
Who can see your information
- Inside Vantage Pro: shared account details (such as facility profiles, installed equipment and contacts) are visible to your team. Your own work, such as notes, activities, follow-ups, opportunities and deals, is visible to your territory and to the managers and administrators your organization assigns. Compensation figures are visible only to the territory's own rep.
- Service providers that host and run Vantage Pro on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery) and Google Maps Platform (maps, address lookup and routes). They process data only to provide their service to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users and the service.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed, calendar tokens are encrypted, and the database is not reachable from the public internet without credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. An administrator can disable or delete your account. To ask for your personal information to be deleted, or for a copy of it, email support@vantagesalespro.com. Calendar data is deleted when you disconnect your calendar, as described above.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. If a change affects how we use data received from Google or Microsoft, we will ask for your consent again where required.
